Paul Eaves FCA MSI BSc (Hons)
Paul is Managing Partner of Equity Value. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Securities Institute, which gives him extra technical background on Financial Markets and Investment issues.
He has acted as advisor on share valuation matters in civil disputes, as well as tax planning matters, where he has worked on a significant number of transactions involving share option schemes. Hence, he is experienced in the principles that are relevant for the new accounting standard.
Paul is a graduate in biochemistry from the University of York. After working with the Inland Revenue as an Inspector of Taxes on their accelerated promotion track he joined Arthur Andersen, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, working in their Leeds and London offices as a senior manager. After 10 years with Andersens, Paul established his own firm in 1994.
Paul enjoys watching football, and family life.

Paul has worked in the accountancy profession for over fifteen years and has been a member of the Association of Chartered Certified accountants for over ten years.
He has provided figures and disclosure notes for the accounts of listed companies and has advised on the implementation of stock options schemes. He therefore understands the intricacies of relevant equity instruments and has obtained a good working knowledge of the practical requirements of FRS20.
Paul spent six years working with Ernst & Young where he progressed to Senior Consultant and has been a Partner with the Equity Value organisation since September 2005.
Paul enjoys a busy family and in what is left of his time he plays football, badminton and golf and enjoys walking in the Yorkshire Dales. |
